Beyond Medical Education subsidies - 2012
All Registrars completing their terms in General Practice (excluding those doing an advanced rural skills posts) will receive an allowance each term to support costs associated with moving to or living in the BME region. This allowance is fixed and is determined according to the RA category of the practice location. The schedule of payments for each term for a full time registrar is as follows:

Government subsidies
Subsidies paid by the Government through its General Practice Rural Incentives Program on the basis of the RA rating of the town in which you are working.
